Mode of action of AgriLife Rootambio® constituents:

Biofertilizers

  • • Nitrogen fixing bacteria helps fix atmospheric nitrogen into the soil
  • • Phosphorus solubilizing bacteria helps better solubilization of fixed phosphorus
  • • Potassium mobilizing bacteria - Potash is an expensive element and usually gets leached out. The bacteria mobilize potassium and makes this available to the plant
  • • Mycorrhiza colonize in root system and extend hyphae beyond the root system. This extended root system reaches out into zones normally not accessed by the root. This ensures plants getting more phosphorus and other micro nutrients from ‘far away’ zones. Mycorrhiza offers unique bio stimulant properties that enhance tolerance to biotic and abiotic stress

PGPR

  • • Silica solubilizing bacteria impart drought tolerance and promote robust plant growth
  • Bacillus spp promotes a healthy root system and has a fungistatic action
  • Trichoderma spp decomposes biomass in soil and has a fungistatic action
  • • Organic acids and enzymes secreted by the microbes help in mobilizing various fixed elements in the soil

Nutrients

  • • Organic carbon offers a congenial micro environment, increased organic carbon for growth and development of beneficial microbes
  • • Seaweed fermentation derivatives contain cytokinins, auxins, gibberellins and betaines which aid in cell multiplication, cell elongation and vegetative growth
  • • Protein hydrolysates of vegetative origin derived from enzyme hydrolysis process contain useful amino acids that help in robust plant growth

Vitamins

  • • Ascorbic acid and Thiamine help address abiotic stress management of crops

  • • Biological nitrogen fixation
  • • Phosphorus solubilization
  • • Potash mobilization
  • • Silica solubilization
  • • Micro nutrient assimilation
  • • Soil health improvement
  • • Organic carbon improvement
  • • Feeding roots proliferation
  • • Disease suppression
  • • Drought tolerance

  • FAQ's

Can I spray AgriLife Rootambio® during day time or a hot day?
Yes. You can spray anytime. Organic carbon in the product facilitates priming of microbes for better germination and survival.

Can I mix AgriLife Rootambio® with chemical fungicides?
No. Do not mix chemical fungicides with AgriLife Rootambio®.

Are there any studies to show if particular species of soil microbes are more prevalent in the rhizosphere during vegetative growth, and some species more prevalent during generative growth? Is there a shift in the soil microbial community at different growth stages, and if this can be manipulated through the use of inoculums at targeted times or is it best to apply a diversity of species during early stage growth?
This is for growing crops in containers in controlled environments, not open soil.

Soil microbiome has formed in 1000s of years and acclimatised micirobes keep growing under normal ecosystem. However, with industrial agricultural practices of last 7-8 decades, use of herbicides, other pesticides and fertilizers / Chemicals has impaired the soil microbiome. Therefore, natural selection which happened over 1000s of years - is disturbed. There is no specific sequencing of microbes from early stage of crops to final stages.

Now we wish to play safe for the introduction of inoculum in uncertain soil conditions. We have carefully selected endospore Forming Gram Positive Bacteria - mainly Bacilli. These microbes are multiplied in fermenter, centrifuged and spray dried to get concentrated spores. Drop down temperature from nozzle on top to bottom of spray drier is 180 degree C to 70-degree C. Thus, all weak spores will die and strong endospores are harvested.

The Spores bring concentrated - we can do judicious blend of many Bacilli and make a formulation that is highly stable across all field soil temperatures and soil moisture levels.

AgriLife Rootambio® contains Nitrogen Fixing Bacteria, Phosphorus Solubilizing Bacteria, Potash Mobilising Bacteria, Silica Solubilizing Bacteria, Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria, Mycorrhiza and Nutrients for Bacteria (PreBiotics) like Humic / Fulvic substances and Seaweed fermentation derivatives plus Stress Busters like Ascorbic Acid and Thiamine.

The above combination of bacteria and nutrients help in providing a near natural eco microbial ecosystem irrespective of it being a soil medium or a soil free / no soil medium
