BioHume® is extracted from vermicompost in cold process and as such bioactive substances do not get denatured. It is the only true biologically derived bioactive humic and fulvic substances with bioenergizers.

All biologically derived macro nutrients, micro nutrients, enzymes, gibberellins, betaines and many unidentified biostimulants present in BioHume® provide energy to the plants. A large number of enzymes present in the gut system of earthworms decompose the biomass consumed by them and the vermicompost so derived has many unidentified, but very bioactive substances that provide bioenergy to plants at critical junctures like flowering stage, fruit formation / grain formation. BioHume® addresses abiotic stress factors.

  • • Helps address abiotic stress
  • • Imparts better organoleptic properties
  • • Provides Bioenergy
  • • Enhances plant foliar nutrient absorption and translocation
  • • Helps in retention of flowers
  • • Attracts pollinators
  • • No Maximum Residue Limit issues
  • • No re-entry barrier issues
  • • No resistance issues
  • • No pre-harvest interval issues
  • • Can be used as an effective component in INM programs, thereby leading to a reduction in use of synthetic plant nutrition supplements and chemical fertilizers.
  • • Approved for use in organic agriculture
  • • Environmentally safe and biodegradable

  • Types of formulation

BioHume® is available in following formulations:

    • • Soluble Liquid
    • • Granule formulation - GR

  • Dose and Application

The following table gives details on Application methods and doses for the different formulations

    Application type Granule formulation
Dose 2 ml / L water at flowering and fruiting stage
    Typical acre dose: 500 ml – 1 L
    Typical hectare dose:1.25-2.5L
    Seed dressing Not applicable
Soil application(Soil drench OR Drip irrigation) Typical acre dose: 500 ml – 1 L
    Typical hectare dose:1.25-2.5L
Drench BioHume® at early stage of flowering and a follow up with a drench application at grain / fruit formation.
Foliar application Typical acre dose: 500 ml – 1 L
    Typical hectare dose:1.25-2.5L
Spray BioHume® at early stage of flowering and a follow up spray at grain / fruit formation.
Fertilizer coating Spray 1L BioHume® on Fertilizers needed per Ha. This helps in optimizing nutrient use efficiency.
  • Application method Notes

Soil application: BioHume® can be used as under:

    • 1. Mix at recommended doses and apply at early flowering stage with a follow up spray at grain formation stage.
    • 2. Drip Irrigation: If there are insoluble particles, filter the solution and add to drip tank.
    • 3. Fertilizer coating: Evenly coat the fertilizer with BioHume® to obtain better results and improved nutrient use effiecieny.

    Foliar application:

    • 1.Mix BioHume® at recommended doses in sufficient water and spray on foliage. Apply at early flowering stage and a follow up spray at grain formation / fruit formation stage.

Note: Do not store BioHume® solution for more than 24 hours after mixing in water.

  • Compatibility

Compatible with chemical fertilizers, chemical pesticides, chemical fungicides, biofertilizers, organic fertilizers, organic manures, biopesticides, vermicompost, sea kelp (seaweed fertilizer), protein hydrolysates, organic carbon and rock phosphate.
