Somzyme® has bioactive, biostimulant substances like cytokinins, auxins, gibberelins, betaines and other naturally occurring constituents of tropical seaweed. Somzyme® contains 50- 100 ppm of these biostimulant substances.

Somzyme® is made from a unique down streaming process after fermentation of seaweeds thereby enabling retention of all bio stimulant substances naturally present in Saragassum seaweed. Hence, it contains growth promoting biostimulants such as auxins, cytokinins, gibberelins, betaines, biologically activated nutrients and hydrolyzed protein complexes, all of which aid in cell division and cell elongation of roots and shoot and promote plant growth and tillering. Thus, Sargassum derived Somzyme® is more effective than extracts from temperate region seaweeds.

  • • Somzyme® effectively promotes better vegetative growth, better tillering, better rooting and plant growth
  • • Improved plant health
  • • Efficient nutrient uptake
  • • Increased crop productivity
  • • Drought resistance
  • • It is safe to use along with several bio fertilizer inoculums.
  • • Can be used as an effective component in Integrated Nutrient Management programs, thereby leading to a reduction in use of synthetic plant nutrition supplements and chemical fertilizers thus creating a safer environment.
  • • No Maximum Residue Limit Issues
  • • No Re- entry barrier issues
  • • No resistance problems
  • • No Pre-Harvest Interval Issues
  • • Environmentally safe and biodegradable
  • • Approved for use in organic agriculture

  • Application method Notes

Soil application: Somzyme® can be used as under:

    1. Mix at recommended doses and apply at early life stages of crop along with other biofertilizers / chemical fertilizers /chemical pesticides

    2. Mix Somzyme® at recommended doses in sufficient water and drench soil at early leaf stage/ 2-4 leaf stage / early crop life cycle

    3. Drip Irrigation: If there are insoluble particles, filter the solution and add to drip tank.

    4. Long duration crops / Perennial / Orchard crops: Dissolve Somzyme® at recommended doses in sufficient water and apply as a drenching spray near root zone twice a year. It is recommended to have first application before the onset of the main monsoon / rainfall/ spring season and second application after the main monsoon / rainfall / autumn/ fall season.

    Foliar application:

    1. Mix Somzyme® at recommended doses in sufficient water and spray on foliage. Apply twice a year for long duration crops. It is recommended to have first application before the onset of the main monsoon / rainfall/ spring season and second application after the main monsoon / rainfall / autumn/ fall season.

    2. Spray SomZyme® at new leaf initiation stage post pruning of orchards / perennial crops.

    Note:

Do not store SomZyme® solution for more than 24 hours after mixing in water.
