BioRub contains microbial consortia of fungi and bacteria. The composition is customised to comply with regulatory guidelines of respective countries. The microbes used in BioRub are proprietary strains and compliant with National Bio Diversity Authority guidelines and have Access Benefit Sharing (ABS) agreement with the State Bio Diversity Board for payment of royalty to the habitat from where the microbes have been isolated.

Substrate Competition for space and Nutrients: BioRub microbes colonize maximum space and absorbs maximum nutrients available at the target site and thereby controls the pathogens by starving them for food and competing for space- Domino effect.

Mycoparasitism: BioRub is a biological fungicide that attacks disease causing pathogens before they reach the plant system. It derives nutrition from the target pathogen and BioRub™ spores multiply inside it and eventually kill the pathogen.

Enzyme production: BioRub contains microbes which secrete certain antagonistic secondary metabolites which have an anti-fungal effect that pathogenise and kill the disease-causing organism. The metabolites released also have a Plant growth promoting effect.

  • • BioRub effectively controls pathogens causing pink rubber disease in rubber plants
  • • Pathogenic load reduction leads to improved plant health and thereby increased crop productivity
  • • BioRub can be used as an effective component in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programmes, thereby leading to a reduction in use of chemical pesticides and creating a safer environment.

    • 3. 3 years old plants: Application has to be made on all major forking regions except the lowermost one and also on all the leaders of the topmost brown regions.

    Foilar Application:

    • 1. Foliar application to be done at early disease incidence. 1-2 follow up sprays to be done at weekly intervals.
    • 2. Mix BioRub at recommended doses in sufficient water and spray on affected area Apply twice a year for long duration crops. It is recommended to have first application before the onset of the main monsoon / rainfall/ spring season and second application after the main monsoon / rainfall / autumn/ fall season.

    Note:

Do not store BioRub solution for more than 24 hours after mixing in water.
