Diebackcare contains microbial consortia of fungi and bacteria. The composition is customised to comply with regulatory guidelines of respective countries. The microbes used in Diebackcare™ are proprietary strains and compliant with National Bio Diversity Authority guidelines and have Access Benefit Sharing (ABS) agreement with the State Bio Diversity Board for payment of royalty to the habitat from where the microbes have been isolated.

Substrate Competition for space and Nutrients: Diebackcare microbes colonize maximum space and absorbs maximum nutrients available at the target site and thereby controls the pathogens by starving them for food and competing for space- Domino effect.

Mycoparasitism: Diebackcare is a biological fungicide that attacks disease causing pathogens before they reach the plant system. It derives nutrition from the target pathogen and Diebackcare spores multiply inside it and eventually kill the pathogen.

Enzyme production: Diebackcare contains microbes which secrete certain antagonistic secondary metabolites which have an anti-fungal effect that pathogenise and kill the disease-causing organism. The metabolites released also have a Plant growth promoting effect which stimulates the rhizosphere for better root establishment and root health.

PGPR Effect: Beneficial microbes present in Diebackcare also exhibit Plant growth promoting rhizosphere stimulation effect.

  • • Diebackcare effectively controls Dieback / wilt disease in orchards
  • • Pathogenic load reduction leads to improved plant health and thereby increased crop productivity.
  • • Diebackcare can be used as an effective component in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programmes, thereby leading to a reduction in use of chemical pesticides and creating a safer environment.

  • Types of formulation

Diebackcare is available in the following formulations:

    • • Carrier Powder – CP (Potency:1x10^7 TVC/g)

  • Application method Notes

Soil application: Diebackcare can be used as under:

    1. Make a circular band around the rain drop zone where maximum feeding roots are present and apply/drench Diebackcare. Treat surrounding trees also to prevent spreading of disease in the season as Dieback / wilt spreads to surrounding trees quickly. Apply two times a year.

    2. Drip Irrigation: If there are insoluble particles, filter the solution and add to drip tank.

    3. Long duration crops / Perennial / Orchard crops: Dissolve Diebackcare at recommended doses in sufficient water and apply as a drenching spray near root zone twice a year. It is recommended to have first application before the onset of the main monsoon / rainfall/ spring season and second application after the main monsoon / rainfall / autumn/ fall season.

    Note:

Do not store Diebackcare solution for more than 24 hours after mixing in water.

A fraction of the product may not be soluble in water. It is advisable to filter and discard undissolved residue and use filtered liquid for spraying or feeding through drip irrigation.

  • Compatibility

Compatible with other BioPesticides , biofertilizers, organic fertilizers, organic manures, biopesticides, vermicompost, sea kelp (seaweed fertilizer), protein hydrolysates, organic carbon and rock phosphate.

Note:It is advisable to have a one-week gap if soil application pesticides are to be used after application of Diebackcare.
