AgriLife SeedGuard comprises of Biofertilizers, Mycorrhiza and PGPR microbes. Vegetative origin sticking agents with organic carbon are in the formulation. Small quantum of water helps in adhering AgriLife SeedGuard™ to seed surface.

The composition is customized to comply with regulatory guidelines of respective countries. All the microbes in AgriLife SeedGuard are proprietary strains and compliant with National Bio Diversity Authority guidelines and have Access Benefit Sharing (ABS) agreement with the State Bio Diversity Board for payment of royalty to the habitat from where the microbes have been isolated. The strains are under Patent deposit certificate with Budapest Treaty recognized depository.

Biofertilizers:
• Nitrogen fixing bacteria - Paenibacillus durus (Paenibacillus azotofixans)/Azotobacter chroococum
• Phosphorous solubilizing bacteria - Bacillus megaterium
• Potassium mobilizing bacteria - Bacillus mucilaginosus
• Mycorrhiza - Rhizophagus irregularis

PGPR:
• Silica solubilizing bacteria – Bacillus mycoides
• Root enhancing bacteria - Bacillus spp
• Root enhancing fungus – Trichoderma spp

Beneficial microbes and natural biostimulants contained in AgriLife SeedGuard act as bio primers. that help in:
• Uniform germination
• Disease suppression
• Drought tolerance

Mode of action of AgriLife SeedGuard™ constituents:
Microbes in AgriLife SeedGuard multiply as the roots grow in three-dimensional way around root system.

Biofertilizers:
• Nitrogen fixing bacteria helps fix atmospheric nitrogen into the soil.
• Phosphorus solubilizing bacteria helps better solubilization of fixed phosphorus.
• Potassium mobilizing bacteria - Potash is an expensive element and usually gets leached out. The bacteria mobilize potassium and makes this available to the plant.
• Mycorrhiza colonize in root system and extend hyphae beyond the root system. This extended root system reaches out into zones normally not accessed by the root. This ensures plants getting more phosphorus and other micro nutrients from ‘far away’ zones. Mycorrhiza offers unique bio stimulant properties that enhance tolerance to biotic and abiotic stress.

PGPR:
• Silica solubilizing bacteria impart drought tolerance and promote robust growth.
Bacillus spp promotes a healthy root system and has a fungistatic action.
Trichoderma spp enhances root growth and has a fungistatic action
• Organic acids and enzymes secreted by the microbes help in mobilizing various fixed elements in the soil.

  • • Biological nitrogen fixation
  • • Phosphorus solubilization
  • • Potash mobilization
  • • Silica solubilization
  • • Micro nutrient assimilation
  • • Soil health improvement
  • • Organic carbon improvement
  • • Feeding roots proliferation
  • • Disease suppression
  • • Drought tolerance

  • Application method Notes

    Seed dressing:

    • 1. Mix SeedGuard with crude sugar in sufficient water to make a slurry and coat seeds and dry in shade and sow / broadcast / dibble in the field. Do not store treated / coated seeds more than 24 hrs
    • 2. Do not store seeds more than one week after treatment with AgriLife SeedGuard.

Nursery bed application: SeedGuard can be used as under:

    • Mix SeedGuard at recommended doses in sufficient water and drench nursery bed.
    • Drip Irrigation: If there are insoluble particles, filter the solution and add to drip tank.

    Note:

Do not store AgriLife SeedGuard solution for more than 24 hours after mixing in water.

  • Compatibility

Compatible with other BioPesticides, Bionematicides, biofertilizers, organic fertilizers, organic manures, biopesticides, vermicompost, sea kelp (seaweed fertilizer), protein hydrolysates, organic carbon and rock phosphate.

Soluble powder formulation: AgriLife SeedGuard can be dry coated on chemical fertilizer granules / prills before application. AgriLife SeedGuard can be mixed with conventional chemical fertilizers/ chemical pesticides as a tank mix and drench / spray immediately on soil.

    Note:
